In view of the ongoing advancements in the defense and security sectors, and the necessity to adapt to the related changes in their respective industries, we, at the Academy of Defense Industries, have been diligently working since its establishment in 2022 to identify opportunities and facilitate the transfer of experience and knowledge to our national workforce. Our aim is to ensure the sustainability of the defense industries sector through continuous support in achieving localization objectives, meeting the supply chain plan requirements, in alignment with the human resource strategy in defense industries, and enhancing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s defense manufacturing capabilities, in accordance with the sustainable development goals of Vision 2030 and the objective to localize over 50% of defense spending.
Our primary responsibilities rest in empowering and equipping human resources in technical and scientific fields pertaining to the defense industries. We are committed to implementing the finest international practices and leading standards in technical and vocational education, with the objective of preparing our youth to assume leadership roles in the sector. We all share the belief in our capabilities, and this academy will undoubtedly serve as a significant milestone in enhancing our national capacities, developing our human capital, and fostering knowledge exchange with experts and stakeholders for the benefit of the sector.
In conclusion, we will forge ahead with confidence and competence, trusting in the grace of God Almighty and the unwavering support of our wise leadership – may God protect them. Our unwavering commitment remains steadfast in achieving one of our most crucial goals: to be recognized among the top global centers of technical excellence in the defense industries by 2030.
